Customer needs analysis
From the very first contact, our marketing team focuses a proposal as a consulting project. Thus, this team helps our Customers to clearly define and specify their needs by studying their culture, analyzing their corporate image, their architectural references and, naturally, the end purpose and final location of the future facility. NORMETAL seeks both the finest technical and budget-related solution and provides ideas, based on its more than 35 years of experience, for an optimum, cutting-edge structural design. NORMETAL’s sales department as well as its design and engineering departments are involved in this process.

Custom proposal
For NORMETAL commercial team, an offer is an opportunity to create value for its clients. So your creative, depending on the requirements and the size of the project, propose a solution that includes
Financing scheme:
Because NORMETAL understands that its Customers must devote their financial resources to growing in their own business, the financial department conducts a customized analysis and suggests the best financing scheme suiting each Customer, situation and type of project.
Once the Customer has accepted the proposal, a launching meeting is then held. At this decisive meeting, the sales, design, engineering and operations teams get together to analyze the project in depth and define the project’s critical path. Once defined, all of the actions aimed at carrying out the project (procurement, detailed engineering and manufacture) are taken, ensuring that the critical path benchmarks are respected for the purpose of meeting the stipulated delivery time.
Detailed engineering
Based on the previous graphic design, the NORMETAL engineering office draws up detailed plans for converting a standard modular structural element into a unique element of an exclusive design and quality meeting the most demanding expectations, which are then approved by the Customer prior to launching the manufacturing process, there thus being no budget-related surprises entailing any unnecessary changes as is the case in conventional construction.
The detailed engineering is carried out additionally facilitating all of the other operating processes: procurement, manufacture, transport and erection.
Manufacture
Once the engineering process has been fully completed, manufacturing then begins at one of the manufacturing plants: Fuenlabrada, Madrid (15,000 m2) or in Porto (6,000 m2), staffed by a team of over 150 employees. A stringent quality control process backed by ISO 9001 certification assures product quality: in-factory construction makes it possible for the facility to meet industry quality standards.
Erection, Site Supervisory and Delivery
Following completion of the manufacturing stage, NORMETAL moves to the site, taking its erecting supervisors and site managers to the site, where they will supervise every step of the erecting process to ensure that the final and most critical of the stages involved in the modular project installation process will be fully completed to schedule with the anticipated finishings and qualities. Once the project has been fully completed, the final works completion certificate is then signed.
NORMETAL has an after-sales service at all its sales offices, guaranteeing fast assistance and proper maintenance of the modular structures and facilities. NORMETAL also offers the possibility of engaging their maintenance and vandalism insurance.
